which is granulated and which is clear...

As far as I know, Chief cells secrete parathormone and are granulated, oxyphil cells are pale and clear and their function is unknown.

Cheif Cells= smaller, stain darker bc of granules : PTH (parathyroid hormone - affects Ca2+ levels in the body)

Oxyphil Cells= larger, pale/clear, function is unknown
