What is the verdict on talking about parents that are dentists/orthos/etc. in your personal statement if that is one thing that led you to dentistry....? Thanks

I didn't write about it, but I think it would be just fine to do so. Remember, there is a specific place in the AADSAS application that asks if you have family members that are in the dental field.

You can mention it in passing but you do not want to make it your focal point. It lets the adcoms know that you know what you are getting yourself into.

I made it a center point to my personal statement. How I got involved and I don't think it really matters.
