Hi guys,
I recently spoke to ADA member and was informed that they are changing the curve for the new part 1 exam. He did not tell me when this will take place but he stated that its in the process of being changed. He stated that the exam was never meant to be used by speciality programs of comparing students but only to make it easy to pass. He stated even thou the stats show more students are passing the exam, they are thinking about re-formatting the exam back to old version. This is directly from an inside source...I think the exam or the curve might change mid-aug or sept... hope this helps for those are planning to take the exam soon.

hmm... I don't see the point of making the test go back to the old format. It will be just pure memorization race, which makes people to compete even more. Current format has teslets/cases that requires best judgements for students to answer questions (which I think is more fair than old format).

i am agree with u man, tht must be consedered as a rumor goin around, there is not point to go back to damn easy old version, if that will be happened then i might consider retaking exam after have been scored ok ok ok 90 in new version ,so i might score more and more................
