Hi:
I just got home from my exam....really tired... I would say Anatomy was my strongest subject, lots of repeated q's....
Bio- Physio: I must confess I did not prepare for Bio as I should but thank God it was not that bad...I was really
of getting lot of q's on enzyme and some other "dirty" stuff....but it was actually pretty do-able.... (hope I don't have any surprise later...😱 )
Physio was of moderate difficulty...some repeats, q's about parasymp. ganglia, jaw reflex, a table showing different % of CO2 and O2 and they asked wich one would affect most the respiratory centers, pat of nepron wich consumes more ATP, primary swallowing is...(I chose voluntary, don't remember the other options), dysplasia compared to carcinoma, first part of tooth to show calcification signs (cingulum?- incisal edge?), more keratinized papilla(filiform?), necrosis with soap formation?, necrosis in kidney?...content granules of mast cells......
Micro-path: Some repeats...tooth with pyogenic necrosis of pulp what m.o is there? (sorry, don't remember the right words), know gastric enzymes well...
DA: this was the HARDEST of all....Kaplan and decks are not enough...lots of q's on primary molars, lot of q's on lateral movements and the position of the condyle on the fossa.....NOT EVEN a single picture!!!! only pic was from a tooth and you had to ID the lamina dura......one q's about the posselt's but no picture, one q's about another type of envelope of motion (frontal?) and ID one of the points..........I wish I had prepared better for this section 🙁 it will for sure pull down my score.... only one or two q about time of eruption....
Well, I hope this helps....wish I can remember more but my brain is "burned"
The hardest part will be sitting still for 4 weeks to get the results!!!
Good luck to all of you taking the test soon....
I am going to 😴
