so took 5 classes this semester and there is a possibility that i might be getting an F in one of them. Its a long story so i don't wanna sit here and go into all the details.

Just so you guys can get more insight on what is going on, i wont be getting the F because i did bad in the class, there is some huge scandal about academic misconduct going on, I don't know how i got in the middle of all of it... but so far everyone in the class is involved. I wont find out what actually happened until way later. there is a huge possibility that the dean may give everyone an F, He is known for doing that.
Once the case gets to the dean He doesn't really care about who is guilty and who is innocent. So i don't know what is happening...


I already interviewed at the school i want to go to earlier and asked them to put my app on hold because i decided to retake the OAT.
I just wrote my last final yesterday and my OAT is in less than 15 days..
My plan was to spend the last 15 days studying a lot but i have not been able to study ever since i found out that i might getting an F..

I dont know what to do cause i wont find out until the mid/end january if i actually got an F or not, and my OAT is before that. I don't want to cancel and reschedule it because it is already so late in the cycle. But i cannot study knowing that i might get an F.

I have one plan though.

This is what i have been thinking.
I have two years of course work at my first university that i attended for 2 years.(my gpa here is a 3.2)(it was not IVY league but still considered a good university)
Then i transferred to an IVY league university and have completed 1.5 years of course work.( gpa here is a 2.8)

so currently i have 3.5 years of course work all together and am trying to get into the 2012 cycle.
so i decided that if i actually get the F, I want to go back to my old university and not transfer the work form my IVY league university to the old one.

And if i transfer back for next semester (the 2012 january one) then i calculated that i would be able to complete the required classes u need to graduate from there by the end of june 2013 and then apply for the next cycle (2013 one)..

I dont know what to do.. i want to study for my OAT but i cant not knowing what will happen.. If i get the F.. i don't want to continue with my App anywhere this year.

By the way, I live in philly and only want to go to PCO because I don't want to move from here..
my optomcas gpa is a 3.1 and my oat scores that i applied with were 290 AA, 300 TS...i should be studying for it right now.

I don't know the details of the academic scandal, but if you're not responsible, then I think there might be some possibility of a school hearing your case. Is there any legal action you can take if you're being punished for something that you didn't do?

I can understand why you feel like not studying for the OAT, but try to power through and put this out of your mind for now. I did a two week or so cram session for my OAT and did fine. Tell yourself that with a good OAT score you might be able to explain this rather odd case to the admissions department. If it's a pre-req class that has been scandalized, maybe they would let you retake it before starting next year? I mean, I could be off base because I'm not an expert about this.

I would also think that PCO would look favorably on the fact that you're at an Ivy League school. The admissions staff were very helpful throughout my application process, and everything felt pretty personal, so if I were you I would probably pose some of your questions to them. If all else fails, I would think that your plan of returning to your previous university would work.

You have to submit ALL transcripts from ALL schools. Don't think you can get away with hiding grades because schools have your social security number, and they can just run your number and see what schools you have attended.

Is there really a database where schools can check something like that? I would assume that there isn't a centralized database with that information, so there's no way for them to know about another school if it's not showing up on other transcripts.

yes, ever wonder how they check your credit score? Everything your social security number is on, is on record. do NOT lie, they WILL find out, and then once you're accused of something illegal, you'll probably never have a chance of getting in.
