Hey all,
So I am in a part-time formal post-bac program (2 pre-reqs a semester + labs). I am concerned that the 2 pre-reqs a semester will look weak to adcoms so I've been supplementing my time with the following:
Shadowing:6-8 hrs/week
Hospital volunteer: 4 hrs/week
Non-medical volunteer activities: 3 hrs week
work: 20 hrs week
clinical research: 12 hrs week
total: approx 40-45 hours a week outside of classroom/studying.
Additionally, I have previous health related volunteer and shadowing activities totaling approx 200 and 50 hours, respectively, that i completed before post-bac began. Is this enough to prove to adcoms that I can handle courseload, or do you think adjustments need to be made? Thanks.
