So i'm going to be working on my BS while stationed in CO Springs(im AF Active Duty) finishing half and then tranferring it into a conventional program when that assignment is done in 2013,followed by MCAT prep etc. At that point I haven't decided if im going to go reserve or just seperate altogether when I go back to school full time. Leaning towards getting out altogether so I have a better choice of what school i want to go to.

What are some job recommendations you would have for when I get out while I am going to school full time? anything I could prep myself for? I was thinking of getting my EMT while in CO, even though it would be tough alongside full time work and my BS classes it would be nice to have a certificate program or something to get part time work when I seperate.

Something medical would be great so I continue to gain hands on training however not necessary. Or would I be better off just working a quick job(restaurant, retail, etc) to get some extra cash on hand?(my wife is a dental assistant so there would be full time money coming in as well when I go back to school. Recommendations appreciated.

Does your Air Force job provide you with any prospects in the civilian world? EMT wouldn't be a bad idea although I know in my area the jobs are pretty thin. Supposedly the economy is on an upswing but at this point I would say take what you can get, you can always volunteer in something medically related.
