Part time job

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'd say it's possible at all, but not a great idea at any.

You will be entirely dependent on loans anyway, so an extra few thousand won't be an enormous help and may come at a huge cost (time, grades, etc.). If it's experience you're concerned about (lab work, if you're already a hygienist, receptionist, etc.) you'll be getting plenty in dental school. If it's balance you're concerned about (you're a musician and want weekend gigs), see if there's a way you can do what you love on a casual basis where no one is depending on youl

See how you feel after the first semester before you sign a contract...that's the only way you'll know for sure. :luck:

It would only make sense if you really love doing it, or you get paid really well for it. (Because having time to relax is important.) But the 1% that had a part time job did not have as much time for social activities.
