Part-Time Optometrist Rate

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of moving to Houston, TX for work. My wife is an optometrist, and we are starting to search for a part-time optometrist position for her as we have a growing family. Her preference is to work at a private practice or academic setting. What would be the typical hourly rate for a position like this, and does it usually come with any benefits?

Hey!

I work at under an optometrist in Midland,TX! She actually rented out the space in Sam's club here and pays a daily lease for when she works, which is two times a week. The pay is good, and she gets enough time for her son. If you don't have any other options, I would try out a Sam's club or Walmart and try to lease the space!
