Any ideas on getting a part-time position in general anesthesia right after residency? Or, something like 3- 12-hour shifts? Is this something that comes only after putting in a few years and getting your feet wet? Thanks to all. I am MS3 and start my anesthesia rotation Jan 8 (just finished general surgery)

If you are interested in just part time work, contact a locum tenems firm. They can start you off in a temporary position with hours that are compatible with your lifestyle.
