Did anyone here got to a part time PT school and if so could you anwser these question

-Why did you choose this program?

-Do you feel that it prepared for the job just as much as traditional students?

-If you could go back would you have travelled the traditional route?

These programs would interest me becouse I learn and perform best when taking only about 5 classes per semester . Finishing in 4 years really wouldn't bother me but other aspects of this worry me such as not being in a class amongst other students. Thank you for your time.

I figured as much. Not too many people on here went this route.

You can at USA. You can take a reduced load. It will take you nine trimesters to earn your DPT. The Flex program takes four years. I'm not sure the OT program has a similar route.

For what it's worth, I wish I could have applied/attended one of these flex programs (but I wasn't able to move locations). I really wanted to go to to Nova hybrid but we ultimately decided the logistics (of flying there every month) were just too difficult and costly. I personally would welcome the opportunity to keep working part time and helping to pay my way through school, while at the same time focusing on less classes to learn the material better. Having been a full time student before and a part time student, I realize I retain so much more of the information too when I focus on less classes each semester. I hope this (part time PT school) is an option we see more schools offer, especially as tuition costs rise.

🙂Thank you Newtestament and Starrsgirl that was helpful.
