Hi,

I have usually taken 12 - 14 credits in college, and I'm graduating this fall. Including this semester, I will have had three part time semesters in total, with 9 credits each. I am an economics major with almost a 4.0, and haven't taken many pre-reqs (only bio). I have always worked full time as an ED tech since starting college. I will also be doing a post-bacc at either Harvard or Umass starting next fall (can't start in spring because of class sequence).

Is this something that can be addressed and overcome with a personal statement? Especially since science classes weren't involved (ie I didn't water down my semester during the pre-reqs), and I will be doing a post-bacc for my pre-reqs?

Thanks

How will you react if someone replies "NO, you'll never be a doctor now"...?

Seriously man, what's done is done. Finish your plan and apply. No sense in worrying about the past you can't change.

Adcomms like to see you carry a heavy load and succeed academically. That load need not be all coursework. Work, family responsibilities, ECs, etc can all challenge your time management skills. I don't think you have anything to "explain" since you had a full-time job throughout college.

They take the fact that you had to work into consideration. You can mention that you worked full time during college.
