Part-time teaching: Is it worth it?

I have been offered some opportunities to interview at a few dental schools in the US. Does anyone have any idea on the salary scale/pay for Assistant Professors who work part-time? Is is worth it? How many days a week do most part-time teaching positions include? I am guessing that one would definitely need supplemental income along with this. Please share and advise. Thanks.
