Yeah, depending on the company, 32 hours just might qualify you for FT benefits (health, vision, dental, 401k). I've seen thresholds at 24, 26, 32, and 35 hours....it all just depends.
I agree with bacillus, I'd take 32 hours w/ FT benefits; however, I'd also take 32 hours per-diem (w/out FT benefits) so long as I was getting paid a higher hourly rate to compensate AND if I have a wife w/ benefits I can add onto.
At this point I'd add myself into a float pool with a retail pharmacy, or otherwise I'd enjoy my extra long weekend and go fishing or something
