How does part time generally work with your group? Do you lose benefits if you work less than full time?

Often part time docs get benefits from their spouses and have their own retirement/investment plans.

Often part time docs get benefits from their spouses and have their own retirement/investment plans.

And your basis for that is?

All docs should have their own retirement/investment plans. Even if they have 401ks.
Also, the growing trend is for independent contractors, which means they're less likely to get benefits.
