hi friends iam plannig to take part1 computerbased test.any one has clue about computerized version of part1. it is already in ada site.but application is not there.i called to ada they are not giving correct information.they said they are going to start 2004.if any body knows the information. please let me know.

hi dent 2003,
I checked the ada website too and was under the impression that they have started administering the computerized version of part 1.
I tired calling ada to enquire about how to apply and stuff and also told them the online application was not opening. and they told me that it is likely to start in Jan 2004.
I also e-mailed ada regarding this but have not yet heard back from them.
if u get to know any info on this please do post it.

hey if you read my post about question on computerize dpart 1 you can see the situation the ADA put me in..anywasy i contacted them as well and they told me they woudl be starting early jan 2004 infact possible on teh 1st of january..i 'm planning ot take it AS SOON as it becomes avaialable since i am not gonna be able to take it on december 1st...i hope some universites still have a deadlines that i can apply to and make it this year! good luck!

I just read this thread, after I posted on Khurram's one. Anyway, the ADA sure gives conflicting information. Just a few months ago, they said the computarized version will start on 2005. I guess they're kind of mess up in their planning....for your benefit of course, since now they'll start sooner. 😀

Itsme, the ADA will never answer emails to me. So better try calling over and over again.

I called them up 3 times jes to check if they wud give me the same info. and twice they said they wud start it in jan and one other time they said that they will update info regarding that in jan.
Infact they were supposed to start the computerized version late 2003 n when i had asked them in jul they had tole me that it might begin sometime sept 2003 n sept has come n gone.......
what puzzles me is that they have all the information on their web site as if they have started administering the test and that is misleading until we call them. But since they have actually put the info on the web site maybe they do intend to start it soon.
