the water supply of a community has .28ppm fluoride.which of the following supplemental procedure is appropriate for 3 years old child?
1 prescribe a f rinse
2 prescribe 1mg f/day
3 place child on a 3 month recall and apply f topically each visit
4 f supplement is neccesary because the crown of most permanent teeth have already formed

answer is 2..xplain?

Actually the right dose is 0.25mg/day or .5mg/day
As no other options are more appropriate then the 2nd option so may be the correct ans is 1mg/day.
(No rinse or topical application is advised and also the crowns are not formed)
This is just my guess
