No strong preference for Baltimore vs D.C. Any date is fine as long as we decide by May 15 so I can ask for that day off from work.

I want to play! I miss Baltimore 🙁

Baltimore has fun neighborhoods with restaurants and bars: Canton, Federal Hill (my fav), and Fells Pt. But at Nacho Mama's in Canton you can get a "hubcap margarita" and their rules include playing Journey at 10 pm.

Seriously, I miss Baltimore!

I'll put in another vote for parking in Baltimore. It's much easier to find - especially in certain areas. Public transport in DC is good, though, but I never take it late at night so I'm not sure about that.

I'm good any weekend right now except for June 20th and 21st - I'll be out of town.

So how about we tentatively schedule this thing for June 27th? (LVT2DVM, please say this date is A-OK!) As for where we're having it...umm not sure yet. It seems we're torn btwn DC and Maryland so how about we start taking votes. EqSci had suggested a "poll" but I'm not tech savvy enough to know how to create a poll w/in this particular thread😳

ok, Im gonna throw this out into the Mix. Did someone mention June 6? The last weekend in june is risky for me, as I might be heading off to cali early july!

As for location, I am in the DC metro area, but am pretty felxible through philly. I think DC waterfront or Baltimore is still my vote though!?

Yea I plan on starting my drive back west July 9th! But I figure, I'll be slowing packing/selling stuff May thru June and so by the end of June, I'll be good to go. Personally, I want to give myself as much time as possible to plan this thing and May is a pretty busy month for me 😳
Hmmm, I'm not sure about the beginning of June, anyone else want to chime in on June 6th vs. June 27th?

OK so looks like party time will be June 27! Now if we can only decide on location....I think we'll have more fun in NYC but the cost of hotels/drinks/dinner, might hurt the pocketbook. I dunno, any thoughts?

Yeah, I don't think the NYC trip idea is feasible for me. I'm saving my $$$ for application fees and (hopefully) interview travel next year!

So it's' a tie right now btwn Baltimore and DC! I think we should just decide between these two cities and perhaps plan a master trip to NYC next year?

I agree, I think there should be a Maryland get-together, with an NYC get-together scheduled separately. No one says we can't have more than one! 😀
