Hey All,

I'm putting together some of the materials for my PASS app and was wondering, what are the advantages/disadvantages of waiving your access to your recommendation forms from faculty, aside from the obvious?

What did you guys - who have applied for specialities & GPRs - do? Do programs view your evaluation forms differently?

Any advice and bits of wisdom about this, and applying to AEGDs/GPRs would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Cheers,
eleanna

though you must legally be given the option of whether or not to waive, its not much of a choice since letters are not taken as 100% reliable if the student has been able to see it. like say the prof wanted to say something that wasnt positive, they wouldn't include that part if you were going to read it so you wouldnt have feelings hurt. its a technicality - but waive your rights if you want to even bother sending recs!
