So here's my situation. I'm currently enrolled in a 6 week History course called "History of Western Europe: 875-1750 AD" that fulfills my last G.E. requirement. After this, the only classes I have left are Chemistry classes for my major. Needless to say, I didn't get a good start in the class, and I just don't feel like I'm going to get an A in it.

I am a Chemistry major and I currently have a 3.57 cGPA and slightly over a 3.4 sGPA. I have 25 quarter units until I graduate, and will be taking winter quarter off to study/take my MCAT (while still graduating on time). My question is, should I pass/fail this class given my stats? I've already done 1 pass/fail during my very first quarter of college in Fall 2009, and that was Intro to Macroeconomics.

The thing is I really want to be at a 3.6 cGPA by the time I graduate, and I only have 25 quarter units left to do that. So if I get a B or B+ in here, it's going to make it really hard to get above a 3.6. Do you think I can pass/fail this G.E. without getting too much crap from AdComs? Are 2 pass/fail grades acceptable? Thanks.

probably.. when are you applying to med school? you should have a lot of courses by then right?

No one is going to care if you P/F a couple non-science courses, but don't make a habit out of it.

I'm applying to medical school in June 2013. By then I will have 190 quarter units, 10 of those units will be a PASS grade (if I chose to pass/fail this class). This would be the last time I can pass/fail a class since the rest of the classes are for my major.
