How does a pass/fail course for any undergraduate course be viewed before med schools so long as you take the course the second time around for a good grade?

Check to see if your school even allows you to retake pass/fail for a letter grade first. I know some at my school that got screwed because they had no idea.

My school allows it. Both are kept. My school requires that you have to take required major and minor courses for a grade if you want it to count to your degree plan.

Just an FYI, your situation is not very common and the answer is not too obvious either.

But, I can tell you this, your goal is not to get into medical school. It's to become a physician. They are not the same thing.

Well that's obvious to answer your second comment. I'm just asking about how the committee will view it. The whole goal thing about being a physician is another question on its own.

p/f wont matter other than possibly it being a minor question at interview. Perhaps a bit more if the course is a med school prereq

Do you know anyone personally who pass/fail and has been asked a question about it?

Is it there an adcomm who could answer this question
