Which dental schools are Pass/Fail? Do these students still rank students?

I don't think there's any dental school thats pass/fail.

I believe UCLA is pass/fail. There is one more, which I forgot.

UCONN and Harvard are both pass fail. Neither schools rank students. At my Harvard interview they said It is more "pass now or pass later" meaning if you fail an exam you will receive help in that area until you pass.

UCLA has pass/fail. Although there is no "ranking", they do have high pass for those who wishes to specialize.

UCLA is pass/fail.
FOr every class, the grades are either:
NP (no pass)
MP (marginal pass, which is <70%)
P (pass, >70%)
EP (exceptional pass, for top 10% of class)

It's very easy to pass a class, very hard to get EP... it's like getting "honors".
That's how they rank us. Every quarter, if you get a certain # if EP's, then you get a "Dean's letter" noting your exceptional performance... these go in your file... if you specialize, these will help you a bit. If you don't specialize, they stay in your file and prolly has not much use.... good for personal satisfaction I guess....
