PASS GPA Conversion

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
At my school, we are given letter grades and a GPA (for those assigned letter grades). I believe our GPA conversion to be quite idiosyncratic, as anything at my school 85%+ is considered 4.0.

My question: when applying for specialties, would I provide my school's assigned GPA, or does the PASS system take my letter grades and assign their own GPA?

Thank you

you don't input your grades into pass...you submit transcripts to PASS...and then basically every school requires another set of transcripts on top of that

OK. But when you submit your transcript, how is your GPA calculated? Is it what your school assigns, or does PASS (cross the board, exact same calculation) / schools you apply have their own system for calculating GPA / do they just take the GPA your dental school assigns to you?

Yes. The transcripts are a seperate document and they sees em like they gets them.

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your answer. Could you clarify for me what scenario (of the three I listed) actually occurs?
