"passing score" for PTCE

Not sure if this is the right section to post this topic, but...

I just took one of the practice exams from the Mosby test study guide for the PTCE, and got 72/100 correct. However, I'm not sure what to feel about this because there doesn't seem to be a set 'pass' score for the exam. Having said that, does anyone know what a rough 'passing' score would be for the certification exam, either as a ratio or a percentage? Thanks a bunch.

650/900 is the passing score for the PTCE. If you are averaging about 70 then you need to work on increasing that score. The test is really not that hard. When I took it, it was mostly math-based questions. Had a few questions about drugs on there.

Hmm... the one (practice test) I took only had about 25-35% math...
