Just wanted to clarify a couple (more!) things regarding the PAT...

1. For the TFE, are there only two types of lines (solid and dotted) and not three? On CRACK the DAT, some of the solid lines appear to be grey while the others appear to be black. If so what are the grey lines representative of? I am fairly certain that there are just the two types, but thought i might ask to be safe.

2. For figures with items (such as shading, dots, designs, etc.) in pattern folding, are we to assume that the "backside" (ie if you were to look from the other side of the paper or computer screen) of these figures are blank? Or do we assume that what is seen on the front is represented exactly the same as on the backside?

Hope everyone understands what i am talking about...thanks for the help in advance...

1. Good question. 😉 haha I was going to post the same one right now!

2. I'm pretty sure that the patterns on the pattern folding origami's are supposed to be on the outside, i.e. you are folding INwards to keep that pattern on the outside. Make sense?

Hopefully I'm understanding your questions correctly:
1. There are only dashed and solid lines for TFE.
2. In pattern folding, the backside is blank. What you see is what you get.

Hope this helps.

1. yes only dashed or dotted, though you may get a dashed line that changes into a dotted line depending on the object, but any given edge will be either solid or dashed.

2. when doing pattern folding, the backside is always interior, no exceptions. thats what they mean by it folds inward. that way it is irrelavent what is on the back of the planar shape. for all we know it could be a picture of some hot chick 😛

and on a side note when i took it the pattern folding was not what i expected, i only got something like 2 or 3 shapes with actual patterns on them, all the rest were shape construction, and i think some of them were missing a face...so dont rely too much on those cubes, pyramids, and cylinders with patterns drawn on them.
