PAT (counting lines)??

On the top/end/front view probs in Topscore you are able to eliminate usually 1 or 2 of the answer choices by just counting the lines. Ie) looking at top view compared to front view.

However, on Achiever most all of the answer choices have the same basic shape and number of lines and you have to reason your way through.

I know the reasoning skills learned are good, but which type of questions will I see more of on the real DAT?

I would say that Topscore is a much more accurate representation of the real DAT but the DAT Achiever is just trying to prepare you for the worst (objects with the same number of lines in your case). 🙂

Thanks for advice. I scored on the three PAT's on Topscore 21, 20, 20. But when i took Achiever i scored a 17 and am like wtf.... All i want to get is an 18 at least and ill be happy.

dont worry my achiever were about the same, and i got a 22
