PAT: Does the time keep ticking between sections (instructions page)?

Hello. I was preparing for the PAT section in DAT and was wondering.. Does the time keep ticking between sections (instructions page)? Can I take a few sec break when the instruction page is up or should I just go on to the next section immediately because the time is being counted? Thanks very much in advance!

Yes, it keeps ticking so there are no actual breaks between sections.
