I've been doing some practice tests mainly kaplan and achiever for PAT. I noticed that kaplan for some sections like top side front is very easy compared to achiever.

The problems im having are mainly coming on keyholes, top side front, and the folding up shapes with the shading.

I was wondering if anyone had any tips or methods on how to do them concerning those sections and time management tips especially because I noticed I run out of time on PAT almost everytime and have to guess on the last section.

Practice on Crack the PAT. The only way to get better at those 3 is through practice. There arent really any techniques there, other than line counting for TFE and that only works by a handful of problems.

I took your advice and just d/led crack pat. i got the 10 test one i hope thats enough. I was wondering what my breakdown of the time should be approximately for each section in PAT.

The first like 3 tests you should take real slow and just focus on understanding each question and getting them all right untimed. After the first 3 you should hopefully have a decent idea of how to approach these questions. Then set the time at 70 mins for like 2 of them and get your timing sorta down. Then after test 5 You should set the time to 60 mins and do 3 tests. Finally set it to 55 mins and do the last two. That way you know that you can do it 5 mins faster than the real DAT. Once you have taken all 10 tests and you still need more practice start from test one again and do them all over.

Cubes are the only section which is more difficult than the actual DAT. Every other section is spot on. The cubes that have "illusions" do not worry about, there are no such cubes on the real DAT.
