Hi guys!

I was wondering how did you guys work on your timing for this section. I have DAT bootcamp and Crack DAT PAT. I took one practice on DAT bootcamp and was unable to finish cube counting and didn't get to pattern folding at all. I got a 18.

Then I took an exam on Crack DAT PAT the next day and got a 20 but i'm not sure if this is true, but I heard that this program is easier than the actual dat? I did end up rushing towards the end.

Any help would be great! I'm taking my DAT mid July.

There are more cubes on Crack DAT PAT than the real thing, so don't worry about that one. And the more you practice, the easier it is to spot cubes with a certain number of sides quickly, so you'll get through it faster.
This was pretty much the only program I used for PAT and I took my DAT about a week ago. It was pretty similar (angles and cubes and hole punches were a bit harder on the program). The more you practice, the more your timing will improve.

If you can succeed on bootcamp pat you can succed on the real dat pat. just keep pushing and understand your weaknesses and your strengths

How long did you practice PAT for?

Technically, I "started" in January. I took the first test or two but I didn't time it and I just looked at the sections. I wouldn't really count it as doing anything. I'd say I started about 2.5-3 months before my actual test. I didn't practice every day though.
