I am still having trouble doing the Top/front/end problems and the folding pattern problem 🙁

For the pattern folding problems, work backwards, start with choice A and look at any two sides that are next to each other then find the same on the unfolded figure. Then try to figure out if the third face from choice A would match the figure, if not move on to B, if yes you got your answer.
Also, to figure out shapes, look for the frame or the main structure of the figure and then compare it to all your choices. The best method is to go through many many problems.
Use the same method on the front/end questions. Look for obvious lines that you know has to be present on the missing face of the figure. Then look at the answers because some will not have that line there while others will have a dashed line, so you can eliminate them. So look for obvious cuts and find the corresponding lines in the answer choices.

Keep going through problems, but make sure not to rush and look at the solution too quickly. If you don't see the answer right away, keep rotating/counting/looking/fitting until you find a reasonable answer. Only then look at the solution.
The more examples you do the better you will get.

howui is right, practice definitely helps. also, pay particular attention to your pace. timing will be critical on the real DAT!
as a shameless plug for my own research and publications, try listening to Mozart's music while you practice the PAT (specifically his K448 Sonata). the generalized Mozart effect improves spatial reasoning skills by enhancing activity in the parietal lobe, dorsolateral pre-frontal cortex, occipital cortex and cerebellum.
