Hey guys, i need some help on the PAT sections. I was wondering if any of you know some tricks of the trade for the aperture part, the top view/end view/ front view part, the angle rankings, and the hole punching part. Im pretty confident with the cubes and folding the shapes sections.

I wouldnt mind telling you some tricks but I would suggest you just browsing through old posts and you will find countless of them about PAT and some sample questions that you can practice on!!

Good luck!!

does your school have an engineering department?

if so, consider taking their engineering graphics course - should be freshman level. The one I took was heavy on the cad but had alot of hand drawing of 3-view and iso drawings. I would highly suggest this type of class.

yea i need help with top-front-end also. I searched it..but didnt understand the post. I know the method of lining up horizontal lines and vertical lines, but is there another trick with which should be dashed lines or solid lines based on what is given in the other 2 views? Thanks.
