This is from Kaplan's practice problems #12 . Can you guys do this problem and tell me what you get?

This is the answer.

I was doing this problem, and I answered B. It looks almost exactly like the bottom/top answer, just a slight angle difference. Looking at E, I do see the image, but it just didn't look to scale. Are these problems scaled?

Did anyone else think B was a legitimate answer? Or am I failing to see something?

the points that you see overlapping, the jagged protrusions are too close together for that answer,

but it starts to look alot better when none of ther others answers resemble chit

now that i think of it, B is wrong. the tip on the tip should be in middle but in choice B, the tip is close to the corner. tricky prob.

choice E is too fat, it should be thing

Wow I was just looking at this one right now trying to figure it out because I picked B and could'nt see why it was E. Then I pulled up SDN and here is the samie problem. Thanks for this one!

Well... At first glance... I picked B too... but after thinking about it, it can't be B.

Okay here is what I am thinking (and I could be wrong)....
Notice in the picture below how all the little triangles (red circles) are all same size? But the actual triangles (blue circles) aren't same size...

HAHAH ironically I did this question today in the KBB. It got me too. Another reason that it can't be B is because the corners are too close together for both sections. Its harder to see, but its still a valid point.

It looks like you got the circles incorrect.

I rotated the answer to compare it the answer with B. Here's what it looks like.
