Sorry but this didn't make sense!2 completely different triangles for the shaded area. Half of an equilateral triangle vs a random triangle

The reason is quite simple. That shaded triangle in B simply doesn't exist. It is the mirror image of the one in the question and you can only fold in. In other words, no matter how you rotate the given shaded triangle, you will never get the one shown in B. They are non superimposable.Can someone please explain why the answer is C not B
