I'm new to the site, and was hoping that a few people would be kind enough to take a few minutes and explain in detail how they go about solving the Pattern Folding questions.

I am having a lot of trouble with this section.

The first thing I would do is eliminate obvious wrong answers. The only way to fold the shapes is into the page. The patterned sides are only what you see. There is no backside to them. Because of that, you can eliminate the tricky wrong answers that you can only get by flipping the wrong way (essentially, mirror images).

yah pattern folding is by far my worst section for PAT. There was a post on SDN a while ago with amazing explanations but I don't think pattern folding was explained in it.

I too suck with Pattern Folding.... -_-. Any wiz wanna share?😀
