Hi guys! This problem was on last year's ADA practice exam (a larger version is in the attached word doc). The correct answer is D. Can someone please help me see this? I don't. Thanks!

Yes, the view is from the top downwards. If you notice there is a void in the middle of the part. This void is a small rectangle. The overall shape of the part if you look at the perimeter is a large rectangle when looking from the top as well. Thus you should see a small rectangle within a large rectangle.
