what is the lateral view of shape #1?
shape #2 of #3???
I thought #3, but the answer is #2. How can we tell this?

It is #3 because the rectangle in the middle is not parallel to the right side.

if you notice #2, the base has a right angle with the right side of the height. thats why!

I see that angle in #2 that you are referring to. I actually don't think its exactly 90 degrees. Like doc said above, I think its close to 90.....but not 90.......thats why you don't see the "90" in #1

really, to me it seems more closer to 90 than the angle in #3
