PAT problem fron CDP

hi people, i am having trouble with CDP:
exam 2, figure B. for #64 i got 8 but the answer is 9.
" ", " " #65 i got 5 but the answer is 3.
can somone please help me?????

For #64, you have to assume that one weird looking spot has a cube. If you count them again you'll realize that you get 9.

Also, for #65, you counted 5 for the same reasons above. If you had the extra cube in that spot, you would count only 3.
