has anyone ever encountered these kind of q's on DAT where we have to know that that little line represents that it's not a stick but actually a continuous portion? I mean I haven't seen anything like that in CDP...

I've taken the DAT twice and I've never encountered something like that triangular extension in the top right corner (with respect to the 3D model). Objects are often much more "solid" and NOT with discontinuous, broken parts.

In short: this would not be a common 3D model.
