Hey everyone...This keyhole question is really bugging me

The correct answer is d but I just don't see it. In choice D the opening in between the 2 rectangular blocks is too small to fit the aperture. That's why I picked A. Can anyone expalin?

It's D, because if you look at the top edge lines, you will see that it forms the shape of the D.

Don't flip around the figure, just look at the edge lines.
