I just did the practice section for the pattern folding in the KBB and stumbled upon this question. They said the answer is (D) which I am not disputing, but I put (C) which I believe could also be an answer. Can anyone point out why it cannot be (C)?

Thanks! 👍

Use the black quadrilateral on top as reference.
Should be the black rectangle in front, while white rectangle will be behind.

IF the bigger of the two rectangles would be the "bottom", it would be the black shaded one on bottom. Choice C has a large rectangle that is white.

Maybe I am just looking too much into this question. I normally do really well in the PAT section, so my question is would the side not showing (the bigger backside, I guess) be white? And if that is the case I am assuming you are supposed to determine that the white must not be shown because the back is the side that is at an angle.

Thanks again for everyone's help.
