Pat Tfe Help Please

I got it down to A & C but I can't seem to understand why the answer is A but can't be C? Please help...thanks....

If you look at C, the middle section would be half a cylinder. However, from the top view you can tell there is actually half a sphere, making C wrong and A correct. Hope that helped.

Hey thanks. Is that the only way I can look at this problem? I've been so used to the counting line method.

Ehh, I'm not taking my DAT for sometime and I haven't been introduced to the counting line method yet. Hopefully someone else can help us out here

looking at the end view, u see a horizontal dashed line, indicated that there is half a sphere. C does not have that line, so A is correct.
