my test date is close and I can't seem to master this PAT! Any suggestions would be amazing

Top Front End mostly

First off, don't go by the shortcut trick, i.e., line counting. Most of the questions on the DAT won't work with this method. It's all about being able to construct the model with the projections given. Not easy, I know. But that's ADA main purpose on this particular section. Try doing it untimed for a few questions just for practice. The moment you can have part of the model making sense, you should have no problem eliminating some of the answer choices. Keep doing it this way and you should see some result and progress. I'm not promoting DAT Achiever. But I heard their transparent 3D solutions with the hidden line shown help a lot in understanding and grasping the concept. Jut don't give up easily and make sure you won't get time trapped on the actual test.

Thanks. Any thoughts on Datbootcamp's PAT or crack the pat?

I have not used them and can't commend on that. But I have heard good reviews on them. Whatever that you use, stick to the method I told you. That's the best way of mastering this section.

Seriously thank you because I was trying the line counting and other such tricks and was doing horribbly. Now I'm looking at 3D models and I already see an improvement within a few hours

You're very welcome, Kristen. Keep practicing this way till you can come to the point of dropping the 3D aid.

Be very careful with DAT Achiever. They have been creating all these fake accounts and posts to self-promote their product. @Dmitry @gabtse @Wall2Wall are all accounts from 2010, 5 years ago, and all of a sudden are pushing DAT achiever super hard. I'd stick to Bootcamp and Destroyer

Hmm.. looks like "Jericho" is going to keep trolling till his walls come tumbling down. I already told you I didn't work for DAT Achiever. But good job buddy for bumping all these useful and informative threads.

Practice Tests and more Practice Tests. I started by only being able to finish 60 of 90 in the 60 min frame, but now i can do practically the whole section in that time frame. Takes time though. If you're short on time, get CDP and do 2 tests/day
