What do you guys think of Patanol of eye allergies? I just got that prescribed for use QD for seasonal allergies. I just want a simple input. Thanks.

fine for mild to moderate seasonal allergy. As a mast cell stabilizer its greatest benefit imo is in preventing outbreaks, that is, it is often used in advance of the season to stop an allergic cascade. Used BID, continued use throughout the season can prevent flare-up in many patients. Not so great at acute allergy relief, and is often used in combination with a short term drug to quell mod-severe inflammation.
