Any opinions from residents/practitioners re: pros/cons of USCAP vs. ASCP vs. CAP? Belong to all three? Which ones most favorable toward residents? Any comments appreciated.

So why do the two organizations have different websites and the HQ for USCAP is in Augusta and HQ for CAP is in Illinois? Just a way to collect more dues?

USCAP = United States and Candian Academy of Pathology (www.uscap.org). USCAP costs $25 to join for a resident and you get Modern Pathology
CAP = College of American Pathologists (www.cap.org). CAP is free to join as a resident and you get Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
