I just took the Path shelf about a week ago and felt pretty bad walking out. Honestly have no idea how I did. There were A LOT of questions I was able to narrow down to 2 possible answers, but as I'm looking them up I'm finding that I missed quite a few. Just wondering if anyone could give me some idea of the correlation between raw and adjusted scores on this exam. Historically, I've always been around the mean, but this thing's keeping me up at night. I had a pretty good grade going into the shelf and mathematically could have gotten a 0% and still passed, but my school has a minimum score (56%) that you must score to pass the course. I know that statistically 97.5% of examinees score at or over 54%, but does anyone have any idea how many questions you would have to miss to get <56%? Thanks. :xf: 🙂

Uh...how many questions were there? Multiply that number by .44, and that's how many you'd need to miss to get a 56. It's a good thing they don't require too much math to get into med school...

Negative. 70% is the mean adjusted score...ie comparing everyone who took the exam. It isn't a raw score. Depending on how everyone did, a 94/125 (75%) or a 31/125 (25%) could equal a 60% adjusted score. Just looking to hear from people who have taken the exam and seen how raw scores correlate to adjusted scores. Thanks. 👍
