I am as well. But having seen many institutions with toxic work environments driving away lab tech personnel it makes sense. Pathologists are masochistic and kinda stuck working, meanwhile the lab staff is not quite so rooted, so it's a more urgent issue to address. The data is even before covid too so I can imagine it's even worse now.

This was an inevitable outcome I fear, and the time for action was/still is replaced by complacency.
