After searching throught hte old forums I can't find any disscussion about Robbins and Cotran Path cards. Students here used them for genetics and seemed to like them. I am trying to decide between those and the Lange path cards that 1st aid ranks as teh best. First aid doesn't mention the Robbins cards. Any Thoughts???

I haven't used either of them (huge RR fan) but thought I should point out that the Robbins flashcards may be better for course material exams while the lange cards are probably better suited for board review. A few of my friends had the lange cards and really liked it. So I guess it depends what you need them for: class vs board prep.

so if I want something to use for class and then boards later.... hmmm
Thanks for the info though.

I'm also wondering the same thing, Robbins vs. Lange pathology flash cards.

If anyone can offer some more insight about the two, that would be great.

I have both (woo military scholarship).

Robbins cards aren't particularly high yield but if you have a scholarship or a trust fund they are a nice way to review some path images and the more complicated path concepts right before an exam. I normally run through them once during the last night or two. For the USMLE they're as useless as big Robbins itself.

Lange flashcards are incredibly high yeild and have turned into the backbone of my study plan for school exams. At this point I don't even study anything else until I've memorized everything on every card. I'm definitely bringing them back for my worst USMLE subjects.
