Is it because Somatomedins (IGF-1) use Tyrosine Kinase receptors too ?

I think IGF-1 has Intrinsic Tyrosine Kinase activity.
Insulin Resistance is by GH induced lipolysis and inhibition of insulin mediated glucose uptake by the cells (skeletal muscles).
