I am sick of watching sick, angry, and confused patients being abused by PBMs. Each year that passes by, people are paying more for less. The co-payments are up, their premiums are up, but yet their coverage is down. Even generics are costing a fortune.

It is starting to be an obstacle for many of my patients. We need patient advocates for retail like the ones that they got in the hospital.

I don't think you can just assume it is the PBMs. The economy is tough so a lot of employers are cutting health benefits and passing the cost to their employees.

That is exactly what is happening.

Although you make a good point about PBMs. Billions of dollars in profit and exactly what do they do and why are they needed?
