Do any other medical schools require students to keep a diary or a log of the patients that they see during their clerkships? What format do they require (e.g., hard copy, computer/web-based)?
we do. we keep up with it on our palms. it's a pain, but i think its req for accredidation.Caffeinated said:Do any other medical schools require students to keep a diary or a log of the patients that they see during their clerkships? El_Duderino said:It is definitely not required for accredidation. A couple of rotations I have been on have "required" it, but no one really cares in the end whether or not you logged the patients you saw. All in all, I think I partially completed 1 log in my OB/GYN rotation 3rd year.
